110-hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training/Certification Program

This comprehensive yoga teacher training is structured for the student who would like to advance their knowledge in the art and science of teaching pre- and post-natal yoga. This hands-on program consists of three 4-day weekends.


Program Dates 2018: January 4 -7 (Snow date Jan 11-14)

Feb 1 - 4 (Snow date Feb 8 -11)

 March 1 - 4 (Snow date March 8-11)


Immerse yourself in the study of yoga for the child-bearing year. Learn how to teach safe and beneficial yoga postures for a pregnancy yoga class with this hands-on teacher training.


Program Topics & Outcomes:

o   Anatomy & Physiology of pregnancy

o   The benefits of yoga for pregnancy, childbirth & postpartum

o   Sequencing a safe prenatal yoga class

o   Contraindications for pregnancy & yoga

o   Teaching with props and with modifications for all trimesters

o   Teaching postpartum moms with baby and without baby

o   Learn modifications for specific complications

o   Meditation & Pranayama in all phases of pregnancy

o   Yoga for labor & delivery


Program Requirements:

·      Yoga Alliance 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate or equivalent

·      1 year of yoga teaching experience

·      2 years of personal yoga practice

·      Acceptance of Application, $150 fee due with application


Program Cost: $1,600.00 due by Dec 1, 2017; option of payment plan $575; 3 monthly payments beginning Dec 1, 2017.  Cost of required books is separate.

Early bird payment $1450 by November 1, 2017.


This 110-hour prenatal program exceeds standards for the 85 hourYoga Alliance Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher – RPYT requirements.
