Oakhaven Farm
Oakhaven Farm is a 1930s hidden gem only 40 minutes from Greensboro, N.C. Practice yoga in the beautifully-renovated barn and inspiring grounds.
Lake Louise, the trails and grounds of this scenic 1500-acre farm, all beckon during your free time.
Yoga Classes for an “All Levels” Retreat:

Practice expertly curated sequences designed to collectively support resilience and wellbeing, which align with the themes of each day.
Deep restorative poses,mantra, aromatherapy and pranayama will be part of every practice.
Learn about your true Ayurvedic constitution (dosha), and Ayurvedic practices to support prakruti (healthy dosha) and optimize wellbeing (Lunch lecture on Friday).
Learn about your “Enneagram Type” and how this can inform and guide all aspects of life (Lunch lecture on Saturday).
Learn about how to use yoga to strengthen body and mind (yoga for bone health and yoga for myofacial release), Sunday’s theme.
Oakhaven Farm is the “retreat home” for Life Fit Inc, a restorative setting nearby Greensboro, where we return annually to continue deepening our yoga practice together. The 2025 Summer’s theme, “Perspective” is rich with experiences for understanding and learning self care for our unique makeup. Each day offers practices that align with personal growth—from Day 1’s focus on Ayurveda and individual constitution, complemented by yoga practices for stress, anxiety, and Vata balancing, to Day 2’s Enneagram lecture on personality traits and yoga practices for balancing Kapha and Pitta in each of us. On Day 3, we’ll close with invigorating Yoga Strong sessions to build physical and emotional resilience, helping you integrate newfound insight into empowered, embodied living.
This all levels retreat is a great way for novice yogis to discover a broad base of yogic wellness tools, and for seasoned yogis to deepen their practice. Mind-body teachers and professionals will also find it enriching; Yoga Alliance Registered teachers can receive a certificate for CECs. Register to receive a certificate of completion for retreat attendance and/or combine with online Life Fit Courses for a more indepth certificate. These retreat days are open to all yogis, welcoming all levels of ability. Each day will include 2 practice sessions, early-afternoon lectures and activities, organic meals, music, and opportunity to explore the farm. Register to stay onsite or attend as a commuter with day passes.

Other Activities
Massage: A licensed massage therapist will be present to offer various massage options to retreat attendees, at an additional cost. (See below)
Enneagram: A certified Enneagram educator will offer optional, free Typing Sessions to help deepen self-understanding. (See below)
Aromatherapy: Create your own roller bottle blend to support your dosha, with pure essential oils.
Make Malas – meditation beads – all full weekend registrants and Sunday registrants will receive a kit to make their own (as an optional Sunday afternoon activity or as a take home actiity).
Ayurvedic Cooking class (optional): Ayurvedic cuisine supports optimal metabolism, healthy digestive and immune systems, facilitates healing and provides more easily accessible nutrition for your dosha. Learning how to use spices and herbs will delight the senses and provide a great culinary experience for all yogis!
Hike and explore Lake Louise and the farm grounds.
About the Enneagram on Saturday
This Enneagram workshop is for all levels—from those who know all about it to those who have never even heard of it! The Enneagram is not just a personality system but is a tool for personal growth. While other personality systems are about behaviors, functioning in the world etc., the Enneagram helps us understand our internal motivations and that of others. It helps us understand how everyone views the world in nine different ways. Come learn what the Enneagram is, how to determine your type (if you don’t already know it), and how you can use this system to grow and add meaning to your life.
Debbie Shoffner is an Enneagram teacher certified through The Narrative Enneagram. She has also completed additional coursework through Chestnut Paes Enneagram Academy and other schools.
A free typing interview (a $90 value!) is being offered to those who register for the retreat. This interview takes about 45-60 minutes, where I ask you questions to help us gain insight into your type. Register with Debbie while at the retreat.
About Massage Appointments on-site for Saturday
A licensed massage therapist will be on site at Oakhaven to offer massage therapy to participants on Saturday. Sessions will be 30 minutes and focused on relaxation of mind and body. Essential oils and Ayurvedic Blends will be offered to enhance and complement the Life Fit retreat theme.
