WORKSHOP
Yoga Meets Pilates:
Strength, Stability & Intelligent Movement
About
What happens when the precision of Pilates meets the depth and adaptability of yoga?
This two-hour workshop explores the powerful intersection of these two time-tested movement systems—offering a practice that is both strengthening and deeply supportive.
Originally developed as a rehabilitative method, Pilates shares surprising roots with classical yoga. Together, they create a complementary approach to building core strength, enhancing mobility, refining balance, and cultivating whole-body awareness.
In this experiential workshop, you’ll move through thoughtfully designed sequences that blend Pilates-based core work with Iyengar-informed alignment and prop support. The result is a practice that meets you where you are—while helping you move toward greater resilience, stability, and ease.
Expect a balance of education and embodied practice, with options and variations to support different bodies, abilities, and experience levels.
