WORKSHOP

Yoga & Ayurveda: Aligning Your Practice with Nature

About

Yoga and Ayurveda are often called sister sciences—two complementary systems designed to support balance, vitality, and long-term well-being.

In this two-hour introductory workshop, you’ll explore how these ancient frameworks come together in a way that feels practical, accessible, and deeply relevant to modern life.

At the heart of Ayurveda is the understanding that each of us is made up of a unique combination of elements—space, air, fire, water, and earth—which express themselves as three governing energies, constitutions or doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. These doshas influence everything from our physical body to our energy levels, digestion, mood, and tendencies.

Through a blend of guided discussion and embodied practice, you’ll begin to recognize your own patterns and learn how to work toward balance using both yoga and simple lifestyle shifts.

You’ll experience how yoga can be adapted to ground Vata, cool Pitta, and energize Kapha, creating a practice that feels more supportive, personalized, and sustainable.

This workshop is not about diagnosing or treating conditions—but about building awareness, agency, and connection to your body and its natural rhythms.
